Helping professionals of all kinds as well as MI practitioners and trainers alike often run into challenges, places where some things are going well and some things just feel stuck. Your co-facilitators for this session have been taking notes for many years about these stuck places and developed some activities to unknot those spots and supercharge your work. In this highly interactive experience, we will explore and practice around the 8 essential helper qualities, hope , and ways to welcome mandated clients. Participants will come away from the session feeling refreshed, invigorated and supercharged!

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1.Identify at least one of the 8 essential helper qualities to expand in their work
2. Describe at least three ways to initiate and/or enhance hope when having conversations about change and growth
3. State at least two ways to engage individuals in conversations about change and growth when they felt forced to attend sessions
