By Invitation • Friday, December 4, 2026 • 12:00–1:30 PM Pacific
You are invited to the inaugural CCA Educator, Leader & Supervisor Forum.
One of the things we heard consistently as we rebuilt CCA from the ground up was this: counselor educators, clinical supervisors, and program leaders needed a space of their own. A place to think together about the profession at the level at which you shape it — not as practitioners seeing clients, but as the people who train them, supervise them, lead programs, and build the next generation of the counseling workforce in California.
The ELSF is a protected, vetted space built for counselor educators, clinical supervisors, and program leaders across California — co-hosted with the MS in Counseling program at California State University, Sacramento.
Why this forum matters
Our guests on December 4
Dr. M. Sylvia Fernandez

Steve Sodegren
Executive Officer, California Board of Behavioral Sciences
Oversees licensure for LPCCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, and LEPs in California. Direct insight into how your trainees move from your program into practice.
Rosanne Helms
Legislative Manager, California Board of Behavioral Sciences
A policy expert steeped in the licensing code and the rules and regulations that govern our profession. The person to talk to when the law is the question.
