Ethics, Standards of Practice, and Bylaws
Professional ethics are an essential aspect of effective counseling, generating trust between counselors and clients, and counselors and their communities. The American Counseling Association, of which CCA is a branch, has drafted a comprehensive Code of Ethics, specific Standards of Practice, and Organizational Bylaws to which all members of CCA are required to adhere.
